Non-custodial Staking
Blockshard operates non-custodial validator infrastructure. Validator signing permissions are separate from withdrawal permissions. Blockshard does not take custody of customer assets or control customer withdrawal credentials. Protocol and operational risks remain applicable.
Secure Infrastructure
Blockshard operates validator and signing infrastructure using access controls, encryption and monitoring. We do not hold customer wallet keys. Direct validator customers control their withdrawal address; StakeWise validators withdraw to the vault contract, with Blockshard's administrative role described in our Terms. These safeguards cannot eliminate downtime, software, smart-contract or slashing risks.
